counter hit make Cheryl Ho's Blog - You don't wanna miss it

Name's Cheryl Ho, turning 17 on October 12th 2007. Asian from Malaysia. Chinese. Last year of high school in Seafield. Speaking of turning to be a Legal 17, I so bloody can't wait for my license. Well, it's not like I'll own a new car or have a car to drive around, but heck. P license still means I can drive. So shut it.

Yours truly loves shopping, music and designing. I hell dig for great movies and expensive, tasty chocs. Non-smoker. Non-alcoholic. Two best movies I've ever watched? It's gotta be The Prestige and The Holiday. If you haven't watched them, what the hell are you doing with your life?

I love my family and friends to earth. Well I might be a pain in an ass to my family and a stupidly plus retardedly funny irritating friend AT TIMES, but yeah, I know they love me too. (I pay ya'll 5 bucks, just say yes).

I so goddamn adore photography and crave for a D-SLR camera. *ahem* My birthday is not far away, Oct 12, ahem. One of my biggest affection is designing.

I love Tiramisu, Cappucino and Chocolate cakes. Starbucks' Javachip frappucino rocks. I love socialising and parties. I'm hella big fan of Indo Har Mee. No seriously. I am. Enjoy reading me. Oh, and be a darling and do me favour, would you? Click on my pretty ads, they'll make you prettier. Trust ME.

    Never've Been Luckier

Before I share with you my 'luck'..

Well she was back quite some time ago already, and I had this post in my drafts for a long time already too. Just didn't hadda time to blog. (thx to fcking trials..)

I didn't get to hang out with Gillie much in that two weeks when she was back, but yeah, met up and caught up bout once or twice.

It would have been better if we could catch up more. Oh well..

"Gillie if you're reading my blog (lol you'd better be..), just wanna let you know that I miss you and it's sad that I couldn't catch this year's Harry Potter with you. Till December comes, you take care there and somebody's turning 17 in 2 days time. Muaaah! =) "

    YESSSSSS..

I joined the PhotoBlog competition held by Metropolitan College.

They had different themes every week, and I hadda post pictures relating to the themes.

    And I, bloody, won. TWICE.

    Cash prizes. $$$

YES, I'm talking bout money yo.

    THEME 5 : Buildings

I took that picture when I went there for the MTV's Good Charlotte's concert this year. That won me RM100.

    THEME 6 : Animals

That shot was taken by Lynn, my sister, during one of her vacations. Ahahh, that makes another RM100.

Then there's this Scavenger Hunt by Metropolitan College as well. This hunt requires all participants to post as many pictures as they can from the list of items given. So there were 30 items.

I didn't win the first week.

But I won the second one.

    Muahahahaahahaaaaa.

Yea you got it right man, "Never've Been Luckier". =)

These are some of the items in the list which I find most interesting:

NO.1)   A set of keys with an unusual key chain. (the more unusual the better).

    NO.2)  A Malaysian landmark.

The KL Towers is definitely one of the most obvious Malaysian landmark, you have to admit that.

NO.5)  Photograph of 3 people brushing their teeth in an unlikely location.

Ahahha well it IS an unlikely location right? Who in the world would ever brush their teeth in a car?

Lynn was smart to come up with that idea.

And dear ol' mommy was sporting enough to do stooooopid things with her two crazy daughters. ;D

NO.6)  Photograph of someone in the trunk of a car

I'm willing to do all the most retarded things for that RM500. Even if it takes me to be a fool in a photograph. eheh..

NO.15)  An photograph demonstrating an unusual perspective – someone's toes', hairline etc.

    Don't get nightmares! ahah

    NO.19)  Sunrise or Sunset

    NO.26)  After

    NO.27)  The Letter 'C'

I so fcking love this picture. You do too, I know. =P

I've got some skills there yo!

    NO.28)  Red

That's Lynn's red ring, which she bought from Singapore. eheh.. =)

    Yesssssssss! $$$$$$$$$$$$

    and more and more giftsssss...

Well I didn't win this competition alone. My family and I did. We ALL put in a great effort. Thanks Mom, Dad, Lynn & Nick.

    Couldn't have been luckier. ;)

Oh btw, I know almost all the SMK Seafield Form 5 students had already handed up their "Additional Mathematics Project Form 5 2007".

For other school students who has not done or are facing problems, Imma have the next post fully on the Add Maths Project. Answers. Solutions. Everything.

Check back soon! (oh yeah, you might wanna click on the image right below here? yeahh just right below.. You see it? Right. Click it. Smile )

    School or Home?

The weather nowadays is seriously killing. It's soooo freaking hot. Especially in school when we have no other choice but to dress up in thick long cloths for almost half a day.

    Sheeesh.

Talk about the amount of sweat man.

Lately, when I go to school, I basically learn nothing and do nothing other than sleeping, a liiiil of revision, and a wholeeeeee lot of chit chatting.

    Sigh.

Damn gangster man.. Mother send you to school for what, you tell me.

I feel damn useless lah in school. Always busy with other activities or unimportant things, and never paying attention in classes.

Yeah, see. You get what "unimportant" means now.

    INSTEAD,

When I skip school and stay at home, I actually study a whole lot more. Like seriously. I do more work book practices, read up more notes, do more set papers and PLUS, I still get to relax and play in between times.

    Not bad aye..

    So yeah.

    School or Home?

ONE HUNDRED AND ONE PERCENT ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY DEFINITELY HOME FOR SURE.

You see ah, go school seriously gain nothing. Never pay attention in Physics class cos doing own revision. Sometimes never even attend class. Then teacher said these students need physics counselling. I feel damn fcking useless man. Sampai counselling counselling all that. Teacher seriously making us feel damn guilty.

Go school, Pn. Ung too free and couldn't find a victim so must find me. I willingly dyed my hair back the other time when she caught me and she said fine okay. Settle. Now, she's saying,

"Your hair is coloured, AGAIN. Dye it back, Monday I want to see."

Damn punani man. I already chopped off my long hair lah weih, all the coloured hair also cut off already lah. Still got what coloured parts you tell me? I keep telling her my hair is like that what you want me to do.

And so, my dad finally took out his 'ka chang' and defending skills and came out with a letter which I have yet to hand it to her,

    To Whom It May Concern,

Please be informed that my daughter's (Cheryl Ho Chen Yao,  5 Amanah) hair colour has a tinge of brown which is natural similar to her elder sister, Adeline Ho Huan Yao (Last record in SMK Seafield : Form 5 Cekap Year 2001).

                Thank you.

"Di, just end the letter with jie jie's last year record and thank you like that ah?"

"If you want still can add somemore. You can add, 'If you still insist in her in dying her hair black, that in other words literally means you are encouraging students to dye their hair..."

"Ahh ok ok dad.. nvm nvm. I think like that enough lah. Let's not find trouble first lah, if she still don't believe then only u talk ah.."

See lah. Go school kena all these shits. Annoying and frustrating.

Well as much as you can guess by now, yes, I'm not going school tomorrow. Studying at home works much better for me at the moment.

Weih, fcking trials damn fcking near man. I'm damn bloody tension now. I think I have like... 19 more days left.

That makes bout 2 days left per subject.

I like making everybody feel the tension-ness along with me.

    Yours truly,
Cheryl, I'm Octimus Octopus Prime. (I don't get why everybody's going ga-ga over transformers. i don't even plan on watching it ah..)

    To Love But To Understand

It is never wrong to love. Neither if it is wrong to secretly admire someone. The only thing that can stop you, is you.

Well, I don't quite understand people at times. This guy realized that he's liking this girl who happens to be quite a good friend to him lately, although knowing she is already taken. Mind you, taken for a few months already somemore. Well like said, nobody can blame him for liking her, and nobody can stop him from doing so.

But you do have to know the situation clear enough, that the girl has already got a boyfriend, and they've gone through so much together, and what more, still growing stronger and stronger day by day.

    Okay, so what's the bummer?

Basically, the guy told a few pals about his feelings towards her. And need not say more, news like this gets sent to everyone faster than any FedEx services. So literally, almost the whole school has got the headlines on the 'Extras'.

Well, we blame the guy not for sharing his feelings with a few good friends. And also we can't blame much if the news spreads fast.

But has he thought about how SHE would have felt? If it would have bothered her? If it would have made her felt uncomfortable considering they're pretty good friends?

Alright, Amen to the Lord, He saved your ass, for she's a pretty sporting and open-minded chiq.

But imagine if you were in her shoes, and all your friends and other people are on his side and not yours. They come up to you,

"Hey I've heard the news. So.... how ah? Give him a chance lah.. not bad wert"

    or..

"Eh give it a shot lah, I think you two suit each other lor..."

    OR

"OMG! WEIH! Why not try it out with him..? For all you know it might work out right?"

Have you forgotten that she has a boyfriend?

'You didn't know, or you don't remember.' I'd say that would be rubbish. In school, couple news never fails to fall on everybody's ears.

Okay, just kidding you might say. Alright. Kid. Go ahead, no wrong to that. It's just that, I don't get why people can be so serious when they're acting or kidding, but can't be serious when they're clarifying they're just kidding?

You know, that's not the main issue. The fact is that, it's not very nice to even say those kind of stuffs to a friend, especially if she has a boyfriend.

Imagine if people come up to you and said those words to you, it's a very clear and obvious sound that they're asking you to consider this another guy even though you're already having a boyfriend. It's as though as if they just can't wait for you to end your current relationship, just to try out or give a shot to that guy friend of their's. And they keep encouraging him to try to get you.

What's most disappointing is that those people who said those words to her, were really good friends of hers.

I'm just feeling that it's unfair for her. She's getting all the "sigh-why-you-don't-wanna-give-it-a-shot"  looks from her other friends who didn't even bother thinking on her side.

Don't you think it's unfair, and disappointing?

The more he tries to get closer to her for the intension of trying to be with her, it's the more she's feeling annoyed.

How could you actually feel unhappy when you found out that she had settled the minor problems she was facing with her boyfriend? Instead, deep down, you can't deny that you were pretty much hoping that they can't solve their problems and thinking to yourself, "Hey, that could be my chance then."

If you really do like her, you would be happy if she is happy. If you're not, then probably you should sit back, get a hot cup of coffee (or whatever else that makes you happier) and think wisely if what you're feeling is right.

Perhaps you should also think about how her boyfriend would have felt, having people telling his girlfriend to try out a new relationship with another guy?

If you're a guy, and you have a girlfriend, would you like this to happen to you? Would you like your friends saying all those to your gf? Asking her to give it a shot? Would you?

    One word. Think.

I'm posting this here is because she shared her thoughts with me. And I know clearly how she feels in this situation.

He's a really nice guy and a great friend. I don't want to see her feeling more and more annoyed with the guy. Why make this happen when you can avoid it still?

To the girl in this post that has been referred to as "her" all the way, this is for you, all that you needed and wanted to express out.

    Yours truly,
Cheryl, I know you're probably scratching heads and asses wondering who in the heck I'm blogging about.

    Michelle Turned 17!

Michelle's birthday was 8 days ago, on June 21st 2007. It was on a Thursday, but we celebrated a day earlier. But we couldn't really party all day as it was a school day.

Anyhow, Bren & I got Mich a Blook top, and we made her a really pretty looking photo album, with all our stoopid looking, ugly, sohai, retarded pics inside. Ahah, show ya'll some other day if I get the chance to.

    Mich Birthday's Eve

We celebrated dinner with her at Taipan. Well, not a very happening place, but we still had fun.

Then Bren hadda leave for home early, so Michelle's bro gave her a ride back.

And later Mich and I went to Starbucks and had our all-time fav Javachip.

And so we had a great night out that Wednesday. Lotsa catching up (although we see each other every freaking day), chit chats, gossips, laughing like retards, emo talks, future talks, and all those shits lah.

    F-U-N.

    'Nuff said.

    Belated Celebration

Mich and I sort of compensated the 'party day' that we couldn't have due to school, so we went out that Saturday for Karaoke at RedBox.

Went for a lil' shopping here and there, got ourselves broke (actually we were already pretty much broke then), had a drink and went back to Taipan.

Now SOMEBODY here action already. Got own laptop and all.. so everytime we go out nowadays, we always hit the hotspot places. And Leo's happened to be one of them.

Ahah, we're quite a regular there lately. And we always order the same thing most of the time. French fries, coffee, water. ;D

Oh yes, Bren and I also dedicated Mich a birthday song with the tunes from Vitamin C - Graduation.

I changed and composed a different lyrics here and there.. ahah not bad lah, quite an emo song. Mich was so touched, she actually cried. ;D

    That's bout all.

"Kawan, I know you read my blog (especially when there are photos of you in my posts..lol). So when you're reading this, I hope you enjoyed yourself, and that you like our gifts. Make sure you wear the bloody top we got you ah, don't like also must wear. =P"

Bahh that's not the most important lah. We love you and you love us, we know!

    HAPPY SEXY 17 KAWAN!!

(Honestly fren, I still don't get why 17 is sexy ahh).

    Yours truly,
    Cheryl, 17=license. I smell a new driver.
