During the June holidays, I got myself a job for a 1 week term at Christian Dior for a promotional event. I told you guys about it quite some time ago, but I've yet to blog about it.. So.. here goes.

The venue was at 1 Utama Shopping Complex. And heck that was a big problem for Michelle and I (i worked with her), cos we live all the way in USJ Subang Jaya and we can't drive yet ANDDDD for us to get to Bandar Utama is just simply crazy.

So our initial plans of travelling down there was to take the public transport. The public bus --> Kelana Jaya train station --> Free bus to 1 Utama.

Yupp.

But... work starts at 9:30am, so if we were to do what we planned, we gotta wake up like 5 in the morning!

YES, FIVE!


So.. thank god.. we met a new great colleague, Sin Yew.. who was willing to pick us up and drop us home for the whole 1 week term. This is the disadvantage of people who can drive.. muahaha! THANX SIN YEW!

That's the set up of the Promotion Centre of Christian Dior. And yes there's where I stand working from 9:30am to 10:00pm. Freaking 12 hours.

That's how we arrange the perfumes.. The one on the set up is Dior Homme.. which is the perfume we're mainly promoting.

And ohh..

That's Sin Yew, the great hearted guy who was willing to give Mishie and I rides everyday, and also known as the world's sampatest salesperson! He'll go asking the customers...

"Hi Miss, wanna try our perfume?"

Miss goes.. "No thanks"

And he'll just spray at her anyway..

OR..

"Hi Sir wanna try our perfume?"

"No.."

And he'll go.... "$!@#!#%^#$!@*"

LOL!! I tell you Mishie and I lauge our ass off everytime he says stupid things with that funny expression on his face!

It was heck fun working with him man.. like the biggest joker I tell you! All the stupid lame crazy things he can think of.. lols.. just makes our working term fun!


And oh.. do you see the blue shirt lady in the picture..? That's the supervisor.. stupid supervisor! All she know how to do is eat and talk on the phone. Never bother about anything else. And she actually told me and Michelle to go for our lunch break for 30 mins only where byright its supposed to be 1 hour!! Stupid fat lady... Hmmphhhhh...!!


And now.. I shall introduce you some perfumes.. YES you should be interested..

I'm sure you perfume-fanatics recgonize this Dior Addict for ladies.. yes it's the blue one, not the pink one.

Trust me 100% with your heart, that this is the worst smelling perfume.. again, WORST SMELLING PERFUME.

We obviously did not promote this.. but on my last day of work, Sin Yew was telling me and Mich that since it's the last day.. better spray all you want.. cos you won't get to use expensive perfumes for free in a wayyyyy long time more to come.

And soo.... he just had to use that Dior Addict and spray at my hair.

My hair smelt like shit.. Like a 100 combination of chemicals you know.. Stinks like anything! After 2 days still got a slight smell of it.. My god..


Okay moving on...

Right.. this is Dior Homme.. the perfume we're mainly promoting. It costs RM235 for 100ml and RM170 for 50ml I think.. that's for the promotion term.. where it came with free gifts as well.. like some minitures and all. It's not that bad.. the smell's kinda nice.. a lil musky and manly.. Great choice for your dad.

Yes this is the Higher Energy for men.. also another perfume we were promoting. This smells the best among all the men's perfumes.

*Ahem* Perfume of cockroches.. Lol! It seriously smells like cockroach you know!! I don't know why but it just does.. we always use this to kenakan each other.. spray all the horrible-smelling perfumes at each other! Hahah...


Okay before I bore you to death with any more perfumes.. here's 2 more for the ladies..

Miss Dior Cherie comes in a very classy and sweet packaging for ladies.. And infact, it even smell sweet. Like 100% cotton candy.. maybe + 100 spoons of sugar also. Freaking sweet smell..

Jadore.. the most elegant-smelling perfume I've ever smelt.. Very nice smell and suits many women. =) Costs a bomb as well.. Haha..


Perfumes just weren't my thing before this.. as in I never liked perfumes.. I didn't like how they smell so strong, and start running up my nose and give me that eeeky feeling up in my nose and just makes me sneeze.

Yeah I didn't like it.

But after working there, I'm like okay with it already.. and damn pro in perfumes edi summore! Woo hoo! =D  Ask me anything.. EDT, EDP.. how long they last.. what are the ingredients.. bla bla bla.. WOO HOO!

So another great experience to add up in my working experiences. I wonder what's the next one to come?

Two days before my bloggie's birthday, 21st June 2006, was Michelle's 16th birthday! Time flies.. when I started my blog.. it was Michelle's 15th birthday. And now, it has already been a year and sampat ol' Michelle is already 16!!! (Sampat is a chinese word meaning crazy+jakun sort of thing) Lol!

Anyway, as you know, whenever there's a friend's birthday, my friends and I will always plan up some party or surprise party or stuffs like that.

As Michelle's birthday was about a month after Tim's birthday, I knew I didn't have much time left to start planning.

I tried thinking and thinking for THE special plan for her sweet 16, but nothing right seem to pop up. It wasn't easy... every idea that I thought of just wasn't as special as how Michelle is to me.

And so.. in the end, my friends and I planned a small gathering party for Michelle a few days before her birthday in Jewin's place. Shout out to Jewin, thanx for lending us your space! =)





We got Mishie a cappucino cake! Yummm...









I've known Michelle since primary std. 4.. till now. We've became the ultimate bestest buds, also known as super sampats when we're together, since a few years ago. Michelle's a very funny girl, tickles your bones everytime, she's also super sampat, trust me! Not forgetting, very blur most of the times, and loves shouting for no reason, like a pure sampat I told you. Haha! She beats people very pain and hard also.. And she's just as lame.. that makes her really cute! She's amazingly gorgeous.. but times a million when you look in her heart. She's always been there for me when times were down, she's a friend that you can count on. She might be a pain in an ass at times, but hey, that's what sampats do rite? Haha! Also, she's always supporting me no matter what I do.. some people don't realise how much support means to one, but I know it much and clear, her support means a lot to me. Michelle's very outgoing.. but she might get shy when it comes to her guy of her dreams! Lol.. all in all.. Michelle's just THE ONE. I love you fren!! Loads!! Happy Sweet 16!!

Michelle, I know you expected more than just a small party like that on that day. Many were invited, but mostly couldn't make it. Ended up with quite a small number of us only.. I'm sorry that I disappointed you on your early celebration fren! But I hope you had fun all in all..





And guess what we got Michelle for her bday???





Woootsss... MP4!! Which looks almost identical as an iPod.. seriously! It's black in colour somemore.. from afar, you might seriously mistaken it as an iPod. Wooots..!


On her real birthday day.. Michelle, Becky, Timothy and I skipped school specially for her! Lols.. We firstly celebrated in RedBox @ Sunway. Damn fun wei.. haha! We took the lunch promotion time.. from 11am-2pm! Timothy couldn't come earlier so he only arrived around 1pm.


We three girls sang lke we never sang before man. It was hell fun.. we made the karaoke room as if it was our own house! We stood up on the sofas jumping around and singing.. dancing like sampats! Wooots! You should had seen the ultimate sampat of that moment... BECKY! Lols!!

Do you know that Becky actually couldn't get her mom's permission to skip school? And so what she did was.. skip school from school.. unlike us, we skip school from home. Quite brave ah becky.. Early in the morning she walked over to Michelle's place.. and school ends around 1:50pm, so she had to leave RedBox around 1:30 to head back to school. From there, take the school bus home and tada!!! She got back home safely... If her mom finds out about this.. I confirm and assure you that Becky will have NO TOMORROW...!

After Beckz changed.. We asked Timmie to help us take a group photo. And Mishie just had to close her eyes.. Lol! It's the only group photo we took in RedBox.. sobs..


After our RedBox session, Timmie gave Mich a gift personally from himself. Haha! Damn sweet and cute wei... It's a lovely necklace that Tim and I picked out while shopping for Mich's MP4!

One look West, the other look East..! *Bang wall* man..!! Take photo also shy.. *slap forehead*!


Okay skip the weird couples. Lol! After RedBox, we went to Asia Cafe. Jewin joined us here. Tim had some food and drinks.. and we played Foosball! err.. if that's how you spell it. Me and Jewin teamed, and the weird couples one team!

Omg Jewin and I kena trashed man.. Haha! The Sampat Mui damn cekap in foosball ah.. she goal in hit damn hard wan.. like trying to make a hole in the goal hole!! When the ball goal in right, the sound damn LOUD wei.. BANGG! I think other people also can hear.. Haha! Sampat anot you tell me?

After foosball, Jewin and I played 2 games of pool! Wooots! My favourite.. and also I play better at pool than foosball la.. Foosball kena ta pau like anything. Haha! Jewin and I won one game each. =)


After Asia Cafe, it was already bout 5:30pm. We went home, cleaned ourselves up and then headed to Taipan for dinner with our other friends. We ate in Strawberry Fields which was not that bad though..





That's what I ordered.. Hokkien Mee.. Looks pretty good huh? Hehe.. taste not bad also actually.. Just that, after eating all, felt like they used the whole Lee Kum Kee soya sauce bottle to cook the mee! Haha.. but I still like it.. =D


And this is something cool I got while I was hungrily waiting for my food...





Woooo hooo hooo!! See.. even drinks can show our multi-racial properties. Hehe! But guess what I drank? Mine's the Indian wan.. cincau! Yummm! =)

It's freaking 4.30 in the morning.. and there's no other reasons why I'm up this late.. JAPAN's playing against Brazil!!!





I love supporting Japan.. but its sad how they always don't get to qualify for the quarterfinals.. And Japan's gotta beat Brazil in this match in order to move forward..

And guess what could get worse?

It's freaking raining and my damn Astro has no receptions!!!  =.= Crap man... And yes I have to rely on Astro and only Astro to watch.. Dammit..


Japan scored the first goal weii!!! By Tamada.. I was damn excited and shocked! I jumped off my sofa, threw both my hands to the air and screamed without any sounds coming out..! Lol.. cos its late at night ma...

And then right after that..... *Rain rain go away.. come again some other day.. Cos lil' Cheryl wants to watch football........*   Sobs.. it starter pouring and there wasn't any reception. So here I am, online, checking the score on and off...

When I left the TV, It was Japan 1, Brazil 0.. And NOW......

Brazil.. 3!!! Japan... 1...... Sobss... Japan lost hope already la.. Hahah! But the player I love most in Japan is the goalie, Kawaguchi!! Best Goalkeeper I would award him! Well anyway, there's this freaking hot striker from Brazil wei!! KAKA! No.8!!!
