Name's Cheryl Ho, turning 17 on October 12th 2007. Asian from Malaysia. Chinese. Last year of high school in Seafield. Speaking of turning to be a Legal 17, I so bloody can't wait for my license. Well, it's not like I'll own a new car or have a car to drive around, but heck. P license still means I can drive. So shut it.
Yours truly loves shopping, music and designing. I hell dig for great movies and expensive, tasty chocs. Non-smoker. Non-alcoholic. Two best movies I've ever watched? It's gotta be The Prestige and The Holiday. If you haven't watched them, what the hell are you doing with your life?
I love my family and friends to earth. Well I might be a pain in an ass to my family and a stupidly plus retardedly funny irritating friend AT TIMES, but yeah, I know they love me too. (I pay ya'll 5 bucks, just say yes).
I so goddamn adore photography and crave for a D-SLR camera. *ahem* My birthday is not far away, Oct 12, ahem. One of my biggest affection is designing.
I love Tiramisu, Cappucino and Chocolate cakes. Starbucks' Javachip frappucino rocks. I love socialising and parties. I'm hella big fan of Indo Har Mee. No seriously. I am. Enjoy reading me. Oh, and be a darling and do me favour, would you? Click on my pretty ads, they'll make you prettier. Trust ME.

It's not that I'm supporting piracy, but some of those old movies are not screening in the cinema anymore.
And I highly don't expect you people to be buying the original dvds of those movies since they're not a HUGE HIT, well maybe unlike Harry Potter. Ahah.. =)

Have ya'll been missing me the past 1 week? Hehe.. It's been quite long huh? Well I had this Genting trip and working all took my precious time to blog.
Okay, speaking about Genting.. my friends and I went for a trip there on the 27th & 28th October 2005, which is just a few days ago. Initially, our plan to get up to Genting was by taking the public transports. Somehow or another, we had Plan B. Gillian's dad were willing to send us up there. How sweet right? Thanx Uncle Gan!
The night before I left, I packed all my stuffs and all ready to go!
 |
Cup noodles really do come in handy when you're travelling..
|
We reached Genting about 10 am, but could only check in the hotel rooms at 12:30 pm. So, fortunately, Uncle Gan's friend, Uncle Ivan, helped us out with our luggages.
Or not, we would probably have to go around walking with our heavy bags everywhere for 2 long hours!

We were supposed to arrange our bags nicely, but I guess we were too excited that we just chucked everything and overlapped each others' bags.
After settling the bags, me and my besties left to buy our theme park tickets. We bought the All Theme Park ticket, which costs RM42.
As you know, all theme parks includes both outdoor and indoor games right?
But guess what?
DAMN! Hell all the games were closed for maintenance..!!
Okay probbaly not ALL, but all those I wanted to play!! *takes a gun out and starts shooting all the theme park workers* Grrrr.....!!
For example, Bumper Car, Motion Master, and a whole lot more from the outdoor theme park were closed. Too many till I can't remember what are their names!
But oh, Genting has this new ride, it's called the Flying Coaster! It's so cool! It's like you're Superman flying in air..!
Yeah yeah.. so you guessed it right..
I didn't sit that ride.. What a chicken eh? *bangs head on the wall*
It looks cool and everything, as much as I wanna try that ride but nahh.. afraid I'll fall off that thing and die in Genting or something.. >.<
Gillian came down from that ride having no voice left to scream.. Hahah! And oh, Solero Shot, Becky came running back to me with tears in her eyes. You see, this is why I didn't sit those rides. Tee hee hee..
Michelle and I didn't do much during the theme park, we only sat a few rides, about 5-6. Later on, Michelle had gastric so I left the theme park with her to get some food.
And.. you'll never guess..
We didn't feel like playing anymore so we sold off our theme park tickets to this couple for RM25 each.
Shhhhhhh........ it's a secret between you and me k.. =)
So we rest and ate in our hotel room. We stayed in Tower 2, 16th floor in Genting First World Hotel. This is how our room looks like....
 |
It's so much bigger compared to the last time I stayed in First World.. Not bad not bad..
|
Around 6 something in the evening, we got ready and left for dinner. Ate in this restaurant that I never bothered to take note of the name.. Haha!
Actually, we didn't take much pictures during our trip there, weird huh?
I expected many pictures but, looks like we're over excited until forgot to take pictures. So only have a few, and if you notice the pictures aren't in big sizes cos they're kinda blur.
Bad photographer, must be Michelle..! *I pray she doesn't reads this* Haha! Many of the pictures were rather blur-shaky-looking. Some were not, but anyway, I made everything to the same size.
I had Kue Teow noodles once again for dinner, I know I know, I'm always eating Kue Teow noodles wherever I go. The noodles were tasty and good, and were only RM 3.00 and french fries for RM 4.00. Not bad not bad, pretty cheap considering it's food from a restaurant in GENTING...
Not forgetting, we also went to Snow World after our dinner! Snow World was fun! Hell it was darn cold there man!
-8 Celcius!! NEGATIVE...
I repeat, NEGATIVE 8 Celcius!
Woahh.. so cold that although we were wearing really thick jackets and gloves, we were still shivering!
It was just like the cold countries.. had fake snow but it was like just as real.. Too bad no cameras allowed in Snow World.. *sobs*
We slept really late on the first night, like about 4:30 am. A whole big group of us and our other friends grouped up in our room and played cards, practically gambling...
And when Becky was sleeping, she was mourning like a dead cat!
Goshh... You won't want me to explain how it sounds like.....
The next morning, there weren't much activities left to do.. So we decided to go for the haunted house! It was darn scary before we entered.
We were so scared until we wanted to turn back and leave that instant!
Check out this picture I took with this ghost..
Alright.. that's about it.. End of Story..
THE END..
Nah.. not close to the end yet! Becky's mom drove up to Genting to bring us back home. Of course, initially this wasn't our plan. Our plan was once again, public transport.
But gee.. I have such sweet friends with much sweeter parents who are so great to be willing to give us rides to and fro. Hehe..
But uh-oh...

Poor Becky's mom.. her whole car over-heated all of a sudden..!
There were 5 of us girls, and we knew nuts of what to do! We tried adding water to the car, but all the water just leaked out.
Just as if like the car was pee-ing...
Thankfully, there was an Esso nearby, so we drove to Esso and got a mechanic's help. And it was actually the stopper's problem.
Phewww... thank God nothing bad happened, bad as in real bad.. *worships the Lord*
We had a great dinner, thanks so much to Becky's mom. She treated us with great food at Gohtong Jaya! Yummmmm...!
Before I end, here's a group photo we took during Genting..
 |
From left to right : Delvyn, Me, Gillian, Becky, Vijinder, Dao Wei, Tjit Jian, Jewin and Eskandar
|
I know you can't see nuts from that picture, but too bad, can't make it any bigger..
It's for me to remember those moments, and not you anyway.. *sticks tongue out* Hehe!
Last but not least, honestly speaking, the trip to Genting was fun and nice.. surely great moments to remember there, but it still wasn't as fun as I expected it to be.
Will be looking forward the next trip to somewhere else.. Probably the beaches the next time?

As I mentioned in my previous post, I found myself a job in a boutique named D'Amour. I started work 2 days ago, and here's how everything went..............
First day of work, my shift was at 6:30pm - 10:30pm. I rushed myself and managed to reach in time.. Well, although I know on the first day of work, I should report myeslf at work earlier than 6:30pm to bring up a good point of view............
but..... 6:27pm is okay too, right? At least I wasn't late...!
First day of work was rather boring, cos my friend wasn't on the same shift as me. Surprisingly, business on that day was very very good, there were many customers and we were all very busy.
Oh, before I jump into the next part, my colleagues are Ah Lee (Mei Lee i think), Dona, Ipah, John, Josephine and Michelle.
So, I learnt quite alot of stuffs on the first day of work, within that 4 hours. I've learnt how to hang the clothes the right way, handling the counter services, arranging the clothes and serving customers.
But.. Hell it was hard to put the clothes back to where it belongs respectively. So many clothes and sections, getting use to it in 4 hours time wasn't very easy.
I was darn bored on that day, no one to talk to. And I apparently stood up the whole for 4 hours and 40 minutes straight, without sitting. Badly needed to recharge my energy..!
As you can see, I hate the first day of work. Couldn't stand it.. so I QUIT the job..
You must be crazy to actually believe what I just said...! Hahahahah!
Obviously I didn't quit the job.. *smacks forehead*
Although first day of work wasn't too fun, but well, I'm sure it'll get better. Moreover, 4 hours of standing ain't gonna bring much probs to me, I'm kinda used to it already. Have you forgotten? I've worked before..! *smacks forehead again*
The second day of work, I managed to get the shift same as my friend did. So yay! At least, someone to talk to. It was a whole lot better on the second day of work.
Moreover, I managed to memorize almost all the places of the clothes already! Woo hoo! What more? My colleagues spoke more to me compared to the first day of work.. Looks like I'm getting the flow of it already huh? Hehe..
Today's my off day... the best time for me to blog.
You know what?
I really wanna bring a digital camera and take pictures of the shop and my colleagues to post it here to share with you, but well you know........................................
*whispers* afraid they'll think I'm some kind of mentally retarded girl taking pictures in the shop or something... *ehem*
Yeah... so, probably when I'm much closer to them first. So do stay tune for more updates. I WILL have time to blog, so don't you go cancelling my blog of your list... hehe! ^^

Woot! Back to update once again. I was supposed to post this yesterday, but damn the Streamy-X, suddenly couldn't go online for the whole day. Fortunately I had some CDs on Chinese dramas to watch.. tee hee hee..!
Before I begin, there's a Dancing Competition which is gonna be held soon, and my friend Melissa would like to give a shout out to everyone! So please do support and visit here blog --> Click Here
Okay, HERE I GO!
On Tuesday, 18th October 2005, my friend, Michelle and I went for job-hunting. Hell it was like a marathon! We walked the whole Taipan, asking almost every shop for job vacancies!
Luckily, we had a few offers from a few shops. Watsons, Baskin Robbins and D'Amour Boutique was a few of them. Watsons offered a very very good pay, D'Amour wasn't too bad too!
But oh well, don't think I should be posting about their pay rates online.. No no, no way, no can do.. You're not gonna get any secrets out from me. No uh-uh..
............................
Okay fine, maybe just a small lil part. *whispers* Baskins' pay is really low.. Hehe! Yupp, that's all I gotta say. But they sure do have yummy ice-creams!
Anyway, I finally have replies, and Michelle and I decided to work in the D'Amour Boutique in Taipan! The pay is pretty good, and I'm starting work today, in 3 hours time! OH GOSH!!
And oh, guess what? No uniforms required.. Hehe! It's a free-wear uniform, meaning your own clothes. Today will be my first day working there, my supervisor's name is Josephine. But oh man, have to speak CANTONESE AGAIN??!
Damnn! Why all the supervisors don't speak English? My previous supervisor last year was Chinese speaking too! But anyway, luckily this time, Josephine is much better, at least she understands English.. and is able to speak too. Just that she often speaks Cantonese.
Hmm.. time to show my Cantonese skills! Wahaaha!
"Cheng man yau meh hoh yi pong dou lei leh?" (Is there anything I may help you plz?)
*chokes and speaks out of tune* Oh shitt.. You didn't hear that, didcha? *glugs*
Oh, do wish me best of luck in the world for my first day of work, I'll need them man...
