Name's Cheryl Ho, turning 17 on October 12th 2007. Asian from Malaysia. Chinese. Last year of high school in Seafield. Speaking of turning to be a Legal 17, I so bloody can't wait for my license. Well, it's not like I'll own a new car or have a car to drive around, but heck. P license still means I can drive. So shut it.
Yours truly loves shopping, music and designing. I hell dig for great movies and expensive, tasty chocs. Non-smoker. Non-alcoholic. Two best movies I've ever watched? It's gotta be The Prestige and The Holiday. If you haven't watched them, what the hell are you doing with your life?
I love my family and friends to earth. Well I might be a pain in an ass to my family and a stupidly plus retardedly funny irritating friend AT TIMES, but yeah, I know they love me too. (I pay ya'll 5 bucks, just say yes).
I so goddamn adore photography and crave for a D-SLR camera. *ahem* My birthday is not far away, Oct 12, ahem. One of my biggest affection is designing.
I love Tiramisu, Cappucino and Chocolate cakes. Starbucks' Javachip frappucino rocks. I love socialising and parties. I'm hella big fan of Indo Har Mee. No seriously. I am. Enjoy reading me. Oh, and be a darling and do me favour, would you? Click on my pretty ads, they'll make you prettier. Trust ME.

It's not that I'm supporting piracy, but some of those old movies are not screening in the cinema anymore.
And I highly don't expect you people to be buying the original dvds of those movies since they're not a HUGE HIT, well maybe unlike Harry Potter. Ahah.. =)

Okay, now we shall let the pictures do the rest of the talking.

My super duper precious Olympus Digital Camera!! Love it heaps man.. 6mp wei! Damn clear.. what more Lynn Jie & Nick bought a 1mb memory card along with it! =)

A photo of some beads taken close up. Crystal clear! Can upload it up and sell it on e-bay for a high price already. Lols..
When I was at the canteen (Thursday, 12th Oct), Lee Lee arrived at school and seriously gave me a sweet surprise!

Really sweet and it fits perfectly well Lee Lee! It's my first flip flops if you didn't know.. lol! Thanx a bunch! =)
Then my dear Michelle khoo khoo fooled me with this. She gave a birthday card full with words.. she looked as if she was joining for some essay competition! Lol..

YES, disgusting, I know. DUCK TONGUE! Eeerghh... yuck. She gave me that gift and acted like she couldn't get me a gift so she just bought me something small.
As you can see in the picture, it clearly says ISOYAKI DUCK TONGUE! And when she was asking me to guess what it was, I freaking pressed and felt and squeezed the duck tongue trynna figure out what it was.
Heck when I saw it was duck tongue I was like hell you gotta be kidding me man! You want me to eat this?! Hahaha! I told Michie I'll keep it alright but ain't gonna eat it that's for sure! Lols..
And then....

Yesss! Yet another surprise! Mich and Derrick, her bro, gave me this pretty-looking wallet from Roxy.. and it was really high time I needed to change my wallet. And yes fren, I know it costs a bomb.. and I mean a BOMB!

I can't help but taking a photo of the box that came with the wallet. I love the box as well..! Haha! Thanx so much khoo khoo and Derrick! Love ya fren!
Later, after my Chem Paper 2 test, it was recess. Yours truly was still stressing out cos after recess was gonna be Chem Paper THREE! And so I really did not expect anymore surprise after that..
But....

My all-time awesome bunch of great budds went to my classroom and left the gifts on my seat. When I arrived back, I saw the gifts and my jaws dropped long, with the stunned look on my face that was filled with surprise and happiness.. Lol, practically that means I went speachless. =D
Wait, before I show you what's inside the beautifully-wrapped up pressies.. Check this out first.

It's the design of my current blog header!! Becky bought the wrapper and didn't thought that my blog had the same design. One in a million coinsidence! AMAZING! Lols..

That's what behind my blog wrapper! Haha! Exactly what I wanted.. as you can see from my wishlist. I can finally fit my calculator into my pencil case and not have to worry about losing it again! YAY!
That's not all..

YAY! At long last! Finally own it.. Lols! Gillie, we still have our telepathy man.. I was eyeing on this handbag and really wanted to buy it but just wasn't very well financially supported at that time. Haha.. Thanx a bunch to all of you! Much love always..! =)

If you're looking for a girl with full of ideas and surprises, it's gotta be Becky, my coverchiq! Lols.. Looks like Chem Paper 3 was giving Becky a hard time.. She done that Birthday Circle during the test. And yes Becky, I had a headache after reading it..! =D
After school, having my usual routine, I had my lunch and bathed. Then Mich and I went Taipan together to just chill a lil' bit and to enquire for a part time job at Watsons for the raya hols.
And there's this boutique, formerly known as True Colours, is now known as Little Black Book. I bought myself a top!

BabyDoll-looking! I like! Mich got the same top but in a different colour. Lol?
Later for dinner, family and I headed to Eden @ Subang Parade. Sadly to say, food there weren't too good.
With the digi cam, we took so many pictures!

Me : "Mom.. why you take photo cover your face with your hand wan?
Mom said,
"Cute mah.."
Hahaaha! Cutest mom ever...

And finally after waiting long.. our food arrived.

Not sure what's it called already..

I didn't know what else to eat so I had to order Chicken Chop.. which ended up to my dismay cos it had some yucky mushroom sauce all over it.

Haha! YES I made the food looked disgusting.. It tasted bad anyway. Bad food. Slow service. Eden = Not good.

Couldn't get a pic of dad's food. Well it's okay.

Me and Lynn Jie. I like this picture!

Woo hoo.. using my birthday gift on my birthday day! Pretty ain't it? =)
Then we had my birthday cake served. We got the cake from Sunway Lagoon Hotel once again. This time is seriously something unique, I'm sure you have not seen this kinda shape of a cake before!

It's triangular-shaped!! Not sure what's it called already. Something Chocolate la.. Trust me the whole cake is full of chocolate. Everything you bite are chocs. Pure choco! Confirm eat the whole cake then pimples the next day. Lol!

After eating up a small slice of the cake each, then we separated. Mom and Dad left for Carrefour while Me, Lynn Jie and Nick headed to Subang Parade just to chill off a bit.
Then we saw this nice set up stage with beautiful lights and settings and all. So we took some pictures there.

I want a similar looking pink standing light just like in the picture above for our new house! Haha! So pretty!

I love this picture! And the Japanese-looking pond! Gorgeous man.. If we can build that for our new house.. woahhh.. that's what I call a pretty home!
We stopped by F.O.S. in Parade, and saw a some flip flops there. Some looked nice but there weren't sizes for us.
Then we spotted one cute Paul Frank flip flops and bought it for only RM 9.90! Cute, pretty and for a good price! =)

When we arrived home, we collected the flowers Aunty Khoo and family bought for me from our neighbour who helped us collect it on our behalf first, cos we were out for dinner as you know.

Look at the cute bunnies! =D Thanx a bunch Iwan, Aunty & Uncle Khoo..! Oh.. and Kakak! Lol..
That's bout it for the October 12th 2006. End of celebration. The next day, Friday, hadda face English and PJK test! So, back to school!
On Friday after school, while I was having my Leo meeting, a huge unexpectable surprise came from Nat & Melissa!

Nat dropped by to give me those pretty pink roses personally from herself and Melissa! That was really sweet of you two.. Thanx a bunch! =)
Woww.. It's my first time receiving flowers for my birthday! Really makes my sweet 16 SWEET and SPECIAL!
Thanks again to each and everyone of you for making it happen! For making everything happen! These are surely some sweet memories man...

Till the next post, check back for more updates! Much love!
Yours truly, Cheryl, swwweeeeeeeet 16! another year older! =)

Streamyx wasn't very friendly with me the past 4 days. I last logged on to the net on the October 5th 2006. You don't need to hear me grumble on this oh-so-common-lah situation, cos yes, like said, it's common.
So I'm sure you know how shitty it feels having your connection down when you've got just so much to blog. But when you have nothing to post, your connection works perfectly fine. PLUS, it was during my holidays. Bahhh... Thank you Streamyx?
Having myself not able to log on to the net was the one and only reason that seriously pushed me to revise my studies. Specifically, Additional Mathematics. Proud to say that I managed to cover up all the cyllabus! But it was hell suffering and boring throughout the journey. Sigh... Thank you Streamyx?
It was Add Maths Paper 2 exam today. 2 hours and 30 minutes. Sounds pathetic doesn't it? Not quite after all. 2 hrs 30 mins wasn't enough! I rushed my ass off last minute during the test like one pig man. Plus the terrible haze now, the weather was extra hot which hence made me sweat like nobody's business. Not to mention the tension I'm getting from my test paper.. fuuhhhh.. you don't wanna know.
The paper wasn't easy but at least I didn't leave the whole thing blank. And at least I made good use of my pen's ink! Managed to cover up those that I revised and understood. At least I won't fail.. I hope. So, the painful journey of revising Add Maths was more or less worth it.
Yes, Thank You Streamyx!
Yours truly, Cheryl, 7 more days to Paradise!

Okay I'm still up, though it's 1:05am in the morning. I know, two posts in a day.. CRAZY!
I'm rather weird, it's either I'll blog non-stop, or I'll hardly blog.
Anyway, as you know from my earlier post, I did Add Maths revision today! Wheeee.. mind refreshed but still many questions left unanswered. How lah?
During my unenjoyable Add Maths revisioin just now, I had my mind imagining what would my prom dress be like.
I took my pencil, my add maths exercise book, and drew it.

Voila! I know it ain't a perfect drawing, but it's my first time venturing into gown designs. So as my first design on gowns, I'm proud of myself. Tee heee..
I even named my designs for the first time! This gown, my dream prom dress, is called 'The Elegant BabyDoll'. Why? Cos it's the mixture of the modern fashion statement with the tradisional Japanese culture. The long length of Elegant BD simply shows elegance and the adorable white ribbon at the waist merely outstands its attractiveness. The front of the gown is a designed as a slight U-shaped cos I don't wanna have the gown to be too standard-looking like every others. Just something I find that's unique.
As I tried to continue on my add maths revision, my hands were inspired again and another gown popped out in my mind.

Please excuse this drawing, as I only did it within 10-15 minutes cos I hadda go for dinner. So I rushed through it.
I like that gown too, looks really sweet. Looking at the picture now, it makes me recall of a dress almost a lil' the same as my design which I saw at the mall. I named this gown The Sweet Salcoral.... because... it gives a sweet impression and its colour is a combination of the Salmon and Coral colour. This picture is not as clear, but if you can see, there's also a small white babydoll ribbon tied to to side. I'm just in love with these babydoll ribbons. Salcoral will look fabulous if it's made with satin and kept puffy towards the bottom.
But The Elegant BabyDoll is still my favourite! My ever own design.. and I wonder if I'll ever get to wear it in reality. BabyDoll concepts are in now man!
When I was still in the cheerleading squad back then, I also drew designs of my squad's attire.

Those were 2 years back man.. I'm glad I could still find it in my pile of messy junks! These are things I'll never throw, ever. They may not be the nicest or the best, but when you take a look at it a few years later, you'll feel really proud of yourself for the effort you've thrown in.
I really enjoy designing, using creativity and inspirations. I wonder if I'll be a famous designer in the future.. Just imagine, people on the streets or in the mall, wearing your designs. Having them being promoted or sold in shopping complexes with the your huge copyrighted signboard.

Ahh.. how excellent. ryl, Refreshes Your Looks.. not bad ey? Ryl is taken from my name, Cheryl, pronouned the same as in bar-rel. That would be the name of my designs. Coooooolios...!!
Imagine.. instead of hearing...
"Ehh let's go shopping! MNG's having sale!!"
but....
"Ehh let's go shopping! Ryl's having sale!!"
YEAHHH MANNN!! Coolest shit to happen in my life.
AAAARRHHHHHHHHHH wake up Cheryl!! Stop dreaming already..! Getcha head in da book!
Okay way past bedtime. Imma have to go sleep now in order to wake up earlier later in the morning. Nite all!
Yours truly, Cheryl, The Ryl Company.

It's the October 1st already! La dee dum.. 11 more days till my favourite exam paper (Chemistry)..... which is on my birthday!!!
Favourite?
Not quite anymore. Dammit.. they just had to y'know, extend the exams till the 19th Oct. Oh well, as ya'll know, it's the PRM term next week. Good luck to ya'll Form 3s out there! PMR, no sweat man!

Lol.. James created that hand signal of No Sweat! Cos you know, the la-las (no offence) like to go "sweat" in the middle of conversations and showing 3 fingers at their side of their heads representing the "sweat"? Yeah, so the extra finger's showing a No! No Sweat! =D
Thanks to PMR, I have a whole week of holidays. Though I won't be able to enjoy it cos I'll have to study for my exams, but I'm grateful cos I know without this holiday, imma do reaaaally bad for my papers.

Add maths it is. Now you believe me?
Actually, to come and look at it, that's one good practical joke that you can put on your teachers when you have no idea how to make use of your ink during exams.
I haven't been revising my Add Maths man.. not to mention Physics as well. It's gonna be a whole week of studying, studying and studying. As much as I hate it, but yeah I suppose I hate bad results more.
When the exams are over, I don't care if I didn't do well or whatsoever, but I'm definitely gonna reward myself with a great shopping spree! Imagine the new clothes, handbags, footwear.. and, DIGITAL CAMERA!! I'm so eyeing on one now.. but just yet to check out the models n prices. I love the pink Sony Cybershot Digi Cam! Roxx to bits man. The price also lah.. "roxx"!
Ohh the joy. Guess I'll just have to go through this pain first. And so I better be signing off now. For a enjoyable Add Maths revision, cheers!
Yours truly, Cheryl, No Sweat!
