Name's Cheryl Ho, turning 17 on October 12th 2007. Asian from Malaysia. Chinese. Last year of high school in Seafield. Speaking of turning to be a Legal 17, I so bloody can't wait for my license. Well, it's not like I'll own a new car or have a car to drive around, but heck. P license still means I can drive. So shut it.
Yours truly loves shopping, music and designing. I hell dig for great movies and expensive, tasty chocs. Non-smoker. Non-alcoholic. Two best movies I've ever watched? It's gotta be The Prestige and The Holiday. If you haven't watched them, what the hell are you doing with your life?
I love my family and friends to earth. Well I might be a pain in an ass to my family and a stupidly plus retardedly funny irritating friend AT TIMES, but yeah, I know they love me too. (I pay ya'll 5 bucks, just say yes).
I so goddamn adore photography and crave for a D-SLR camera. *ahem* My birthday is not far away, Oct 12, ahem. One of my biggest affection is designing.
I love Tiramisu, Cappucino and Chocolate cakes. Starbucks' Javachip frappucino rocks. I love socialising and parties. I'm hella big fan of Indo Har Mee. No seriously. I am. Enjoy reading me. Oh, and be a darling and do me favour, would you? Click on my pretty ads, they'll make you prettier. Trust ME.

Anybody with any of those dvds who are willing to lend them to poor lil' me, May I?
It's not that I'm supporting piracy, but some of those old movies are not screening in the cinema anymore.
And I highly don't expect you people to be buying the original dvds of those movies since they're not a HUGE HIT, well maybe unlike Harry Potter. Ahah.. =)

Have you noticed that everything has changed to become so hi-tech, if that's the word I should use? I just found out when I logged in my friendster account today. It's been for so long ever since I've logged in Friendster. And woahh.. the minute I was logged in, everything just changed. From head to toe. From the old friendster which was dull, plain, not-much-features and bad services, changed into a very interesting and hi-tech site. The old Friendster used to disallow self-edit layouts, html codings, CSS and so on. But now, everything's possible. You can even add music or videos to your page! Oh speaking of that, I added a new feature to my blog here, as you can see, there's now a Music Video section on the left side of my blog. From that player, you can choose to play or stop the video whenever you want. I figured that would be much better and more convenient for many other people. Back to Friendster, Friendster kept me entertained for a while today, I was busy designing and editing my layout. Took about 30 mins, and this my Layout Switch-A-Roo! Click on the images to enlarge.

*The header part of my profile page*

*The description part, where I added a music video to watch*

*This is the tesmonial part*
I chose an Initial D background with beloved Jay in it as my design. I have to admit, I was pretty amused with what Friendster is able to do now. I was even able to upload music videos for myself and others to watch. Also, they now allow codings, scripts, CSS and so on. So it's a whole lot more fun to design your own layout, it's pretty easy too. Anyway, for those out there who don't own a Friendster account, you might want to consider getting one. At least now there are more features, probably it'll keep you entertain while you're feeling bored sometimes. Feel free to view my full Friendster page. CLICK HERE.
As for other updates, I'm currently in the horrible suffering situation. Doing a countdown, it's about 10 more days to PMR. How fast can that be? I have to say, I'm not fully prepared. Infact, I'm still pretty worried over a few subjects. Take History and Geography for example. Sigh.. these exam stuffs are just killing me. Can't wait till it's over. So far yet so near. Well think of the bright side, right after PMR is over, it's my birthday, which means, it's my BIG DAY, I get what I want, I do what I want, I go where I want.. everything is what I want! But the main thing is, FREEDOM is everything that is needed! Purrrrfectto! Hehe.. *dreaming too fast*
Jobs, jobs.. Speaking about jobs, my sister managed to get the offer from Intel! I'm really happy for her that she's got a job now. Moreover, a job that she's satisfied with. That's really great news for her and us whole family. Congrats sis! Wonder if mom will give you a 'red pocket' before you start working.. Owh! Right! You're starting on 3rd October, the date of my PMR!! Dooms day! I'd rather flush my head down the toilet bowl....... *Sigh*

Not So Unlucky After All?
Hey again! Hope everyone's doing good out there. First of all, my last post was on how unlucky I was right? Well, probably things are getting better now.. Not so unlucky after all huh? Perhaps the "good luck stars" came by to visit me this time. Hehe.. Let's see what made me happier after all the unfortunate events that happened to me :
1. Skipped school for Karaoke. Haha.. don't start laughing your ass off. Yea yea, I know, I stink at singing.. but who cares? Karaoke is fun! Hehe.. Supposingly, today (Saturday), is an official school day. I even have exam papers to sit for today which are Mathematics and Science exams. But guess what? Lovely sweet mom of mine, was so kind but yet gave me the biggest shock when she told me, "Don't need go school lah.. sit for so many exams, everytime also Maths and Science.. you also can manage that 2 subjects lah.. If you don't want to go, then don't go lor.." Wahahaha! Yeahhh! Coz actually, the government made us sit for so many papers. We recently finsied our forecast papers, and now they're giving us 16, I repeat, SIXTEEN sets of Maths and Science papers to do. So it's like, everyday in school, we're doing the same old subjects every single time. I'm so sick of it, it's practically the same as doing work books. I guess my mom could see how sick and stressed I was over my exams each time I come back from school, and also, she wanted me to focus more on my other weaker subjects too. Hehe.. Yupp, so I went to RedBox in Pyramid today with my sis and Nick, it was fun and funny!
2. I bought a Jay Picture Book! I've been wanting it so much since a long time ago! I finally got it! It's awesome, it came with a poster and a CD as well. The book had heaps and heaps of Jay's pictures, like from the old ones to the new ones. It costed RM 40.00. It's worth the pay I would say, considering it came along with a CD and a poster too! The CD was nonetheless cool too, it had songs and pictures in the CD for 4 different singers which are Jay, Rain, JJ Lin and MayDay. But well, I don't really listen to the others except Jay, but I'm considering to listen to Rain songs. I kinda like Rain's "I Do" song. Anyway, the CD had loads of pictures too. Hehe.. Getting this book is all worth while. It really made my day and made up to all the unlucky stuffs that happened to me. Hehe.. Really glad I bought it cos I was actually hesitating to buy it in the beginning. I really hope to get the other books which are Jay's Grandeur De D Major book (RM 29.90) and the Initial D Picture Book (RM 59.90)! Sigh.. gonna cost me heaps.. gotta wait till money drops and lands in front of me.. hehe!
Here's how the cover of the book I bought looks like (25cm X 25cm) :

And the CD that came with it :

Lastly, the poster (resized) :

3. Genting, HERE WE COME! Finally, after all the big fuss, complains, quarrels, worries and problems, my friends and I can finally head for Genting end of October this year! In the very beginning, me and Gillian were quite positive that our other two friends, Becky and Michelle can't make it there with us, coz we're going on our own with public transports, and not with the school. So Gillian and I were very worried that Becky's and Michelle's parents wouldn't let them come along with the public transports and so on. But thank God, their parents approved and allowed them to go! Which means, taking the train and the bus and the cable car, and most of all, just the 4 of us in Genting! Haha! So cool.. we've been wanting to hang out together since a long time ago. It wasn't easy due to their parents being strict, also, PMR exam is near and so on. We're looking forward for the trip and definately it'll be lotsa fun! And hey, the coolest and best thing is, we're not with the school trip which will be going on the same day as us to Genting, so that means we're beyond teacher's control and we don't have to wait and line-up in straight lines letting the teachers count how many heads there are and make sure all the students are there and bla bla bla.. Well, freedom and away from teachers.. Something really nice. You get what I mean, dont cha? Hehe..
Well, like I said right? Things are just getting better, not fully better. There are still a few things flying around in mind, bugging me at times. For example, exams, PMR, and ohh.. cash to buy all the stuffs I want. Haha! Anyway, knowing that my friends can make it for the trip is already way better than good. That made my day too. But nevertheless, Jay's book is still number 1. I wouldn't be as happy as this if I didn't buy the book. Just hope to get the other books too. Owh well, prays things continue to get better. *Fingers crossed*

Bad Luck Stars Fell On Me
Looks like I woke up on the wrong side of the bed. I had more than one bad luck star, brought me all the bad luck there was in the world! Arrghh.. Okay.. Here's how it went.. Bad luck number :-
1. I was supposed to pass up my form of approval for a Genting trip to the teacher on Friday (9th Sept 05) which was the last day to hand up the form. I brought the form, and the money, and I thought that was it, I didn't left out anything. But what d'ya know? Yours truly forgotten to ask parents to sign the form. Yupp, I left out the signature part. So I had no choice but to forged my mom's signature. But of course, I already planned to tell my mom after school that I had no choice but to forge her signature first.
2. Now, my friends and I got the signatures, forms and money settled. We were ready to pass up the forms and prepare for fun! But as we ran up the stairs towards the teacher, she immediately said out really loud, "No more spaces. Bus 1, 2, 3 are all full. No 4th bus. Go back to your class now." And we all went, "WHAT?!" Sigh.. what tough luck!
3. Our trip to Genting after PMR is left hanging on a dead string. Knowing that my two besties, Michelle and Becky can't go Genting if it's not under the school's trip. Their parents are just kinda strict. Now we're just hoping that their parents will allow them to take the public transports up to Genting. Gillie and I went up by that way before, it's safe and we definately don't mind taking public transports. Now, fingers crossed, praying hard that Michelle's and Becky's parents will allow them to come along!
4. Caught by discipline teacher. While my friends and I were in another class discussing about the trip, our discipline teacher walked pass by and noticed how noisy the class was. As soon as the students spotted her, they all ran back to their seats. It was left with me, Gillian and Becky standing. We quickly reacted by faking we were borrowing a text book, but I guess that didn't stop the teacher from catching us. I hate her heaps.. embarassed me in front of the whole class. I think I became the clown at that time. She wanted to confiscate my black chain with a Christian cross on it (I wear it wherever and whenever.. even if it gets lost, I'll always buy a new one). I tried my best to protect it from falling down onto her hands, but in the end, I still had to give it to her. But surprisingly, when I gave it to her, she said, "Oh, it's a Christian cross huh?" Then I knew there was hope and I quickly replied her. After all the twists and turns, she finally handed my cross back. Then she went into school uniform, talking about socks and bla bla bla.. But gosh.. that whole long scene took place in my other friend's class, boy the whole class was staring man. Like as if there was a free movie to watch. Owhh gawddddd.... embarrassing!!
5. What could have been worse? When I went back to class, I got back my History paper. Before this, I already knew my marks which was a 75, Grade A. I was so so happy, never expected Grade A for my History. I managed to obtain Grade A for all the 7 subjects which are Geography, Science, Maths, Bahasa Melayu, English, History and Kemahiran Hidup (Living Skills). I seriously from the bottom of my heart never expected such results, I was shocked, and what more, happy! But right, just after all the happiness, my History teacher took it all away from me. She made a correction in the History answers, and I ended up getting 1 mistake extra, which led my marks from 75, a Grade A, down to 73, a GRADE B!!! I was so, so, so disappointed and sad that I just shut my mouth and spoke nothing after that. I was so close, I was actually already there, the road to straight As. But man, she just had to take it away!! *Sigh* How disappointing..
6. I reached home from school, and the first person I saw at home was my mom. Neither there was a "Hello" or "Hie" from my mom, but just a nod and a slight smile. This is what she said right after that, "Girl, you don't have transport to go BM tuition later. Dad's not free, and dad took your sister's car to work, his car broke down. So, find your way there please." Urrrghhh... hate that man!! I rather not go, but my mom insisted me to go so badly!! She asked me to get a bus there, or get a friend to pick me up, and so on.. all the ways she could think of. I had such a bad day in school, and facing that trouble after school, seriously made me felt so horrible! I just felt like screaming at that moment.. In the end, I got my bestie, Gillie to give me a ride to tuition. Felt bad asking for her favor, but thanks so much Gillie. If it weren't for your ride there, I would probably have to walk there. -.-"
7. BM tuition starts at 3.30 pm, ends at 6:30 pm. Just at 6:00 pm, my dad rang me up. He said that he wouldn't be able to reach in time, so I probably gotta wait a while. That was okay with me. Later at 6:25, he called me again. This time my dad said he can't pick me up at all, coz he's terrible stuck in the jam. If I were to actually wait for him, I might miss my next tuition. So my dad asked me to take a cab back home. Then I just realized, I didn't bring my wallet along with me. Sigh.. so I asked my dad to call up my sister to help me out. In the end, I waited till 7:10pm, and finally was able to go home. But guess who picked me up? It was the mom of the baby that my mom is babysitting.. I'm not sure if you get this, but anyhow, that's how it all went.
8. I thought all my bad luck ended on that Friday itself. But I was wrong. Yesteday, (10th Sept 05) my friends and I had dinner together in a restaurant called Flaming J's, sort of a birthday gathering for a friend, Dao Wei. When we left the restaurant, while we were crossing the road, I stepped on SOMETHING. Guess what? It's worse, much much much much worser than shit!! Yeewwllkkk... I stepped on a DEAD RAT........................!!!! It was HUGE, and it was DEAD.... When I stepped on it, I could feel that it was soft, and it even had the sound effects, it had the *splueekkk* sound.. You know what I mean?? Eeeeewwww... so disgusting man... So horrible!!! Worst nightmare! The worst was I could feel it was soft, that's what made me pull my feet back! Then it had that *splluekk* sound... eeewwww...!! Arrrrghhh!!!!!
Okay.. thank God there's no more bad luck incidents to type. I seriously hope it'll end just right there. I had enough.. I think it's more than enough. This is just making my life miserable man... I pray hard that the bad luck stars will just fall and die and get away from me.. please!! I think no one has experience such bad luck throughout the whole day like me. I guess the bad luck stars just fell on me..

Woo hoo! Nothing's better than finishing trials! It ended just last Friday, and it surely feels good. It's been exactly a week I've not been blogging. So there's gonna be quite a lot I've got to update here. Let's start of with Piano. If you noticed, my wishlist has a "piano" as the number in list. And guess what? I couldn't be much more thankful to have such a wonderful friend, Michelle, who was willing to lend me her organ. Although it's not a piano, but an organ can as well function as a piano, just by switching the buttons. According to dearest Michelle, she doesn't want to organ anymore, and is willing to give it to me. But obviously, I was too shy to accept it, so I promised to return it to her whenever she needs it back. Thanks a million Michelle! So lately, I've been practicing on music pieces, by Jay Chou, songs entitled "Hei Se You Mo" and "Ni Bi Cong Jian Kuai Le". I'm trying really hard to get the pace back, cos knowing that I've stopped playing piano for more than 4 years ago, it's not easy to play those difficult music pieces immediately.
Alright, skipping off to exams, I managed to obtain As for both my Science trial exam and forecast exam. Yay! I'm really happy bout that, cos I didn't really expected both As. About the other subjects, none of them returned yet. I'm jotting the dates down, today's the 3rd September. Exactly one month later, I'm sitting for my PMR exam. Man time surely passes real fast. Although trials are over, I still gotta suffer for another month till PMR ends. So you see, it's fun yet suffering.
Anyway, today's the 5th Global Chinese Award, which is gonna be held in Stadium Putra. Sadly to say, I won't be going, mainly because Jay's not attending it. It was to be said that he's schedule is tight and won't be able to make it in time to the awards. But oh well, since Jay's not going, then I decided not too as well. Haha! My friend told that they'll normally give the awards to those who attend the event. So for those who don't attend the event, will not have a high chance of getting any awards. I wonder if this is true, hopefully not. Cos if so, not fair!!! Jay's not going, meaning no awards for Jay? No way.. he gets at least something in every event. Well, we'll just wait and see.
It's almost time, I gotta leave to the mall soon. Till then, take care and do come by here often. ^^
