Name's Cheryl Ho, turning 17 on October 12th 2007. Asian from Malaysia. Chinese. Last year of high school in Seafield. Speaking of turning to be a Legal 17, I so bloody can't wait for my license. Well, it's not like I'll own a new car or have a car to drive around, but heck. P license still means I can drive. So shut it.

Yours truly loves shopping, music and designing. I hell dig for great movies and expensive, tasty chocs. Non-smoker. Non-alcoholic. Two best movies I've ever watched? It's gotta be The Prestige and The Holiday. If you haven't watched them, what the hell are you doing with your life?

I love my family and friends to earth. Well I might be a pain in an ass to my family and a stupidly plus retardedly funny irritating friend AT TIMES, but yeah, I know they love me too. (I pay ya'll 5 bucks, just say yes).

I so goddamn adore photography and crave for a D-SLR camera. *ahem* My birthday is not far away, Oct 12, ahem. One of my biggest affection is designing.

I love Tiramisu, Cappucino and Chocolate cakes. Starbucks' Javachip frappucino rocks. I love socialising and parties. I'm hella big fan of Indo Har Mee. No seriously. I am. Enjoy reading me. Oh, and be a darling and do me favour, would you? Click on my pretty ads, they'll make you prettier. Trust ME.

My Ever First Experience Seeing Jay in Person

Firstly, I apologize for the very, very, very late update. Had been having full shifts during work lately.. =)  So.... okay..

I don't know where or how to start.. I'm speechless, no words can describe how seeing Jay in person felt. If you missed out my previous post, the short summary is on 23rd November 2005, Jay visited 1 Utama for November's Chopin Album Promo Tour 2005, 7 pm, and yeap, I went...

    My god........

The experience was a mix of feelings, like sugar + spice + everything nice.. You know what I mean?

It felt terrible and horrible and vegetable  to actually stand from 2 something pm until 10 pm!! Hell I tell you...

    FREAKING LONG 8 HOURS!

But in the other hand, it was the greatest joy to actually have the opportunity to see Jay in person... and this I tell you, is beyond words can describe.

First of all, thanx a bunch to Kok Wah, who was willing to give us a ride to 1 Utama. Not forgetting, Pui San, Andy and Mun Yee too..

    Thanx a bunch!

Mun Yee, Michelle and I attended this event together. We arrived roughly around 2:30 pm, and headed straight to the information centre to ask for directions where the heck exactly is the Central Park Avenue..

"Hie, may I know where's the Central Park Avenue? New wing right?"

"Uhh yah, new wing, just walk straight, and turn left for the exit. It is outdoor, you will see ALOT OF PEOPLE there.."

    *stunned face* .............................................................................

A LOT OF PEOPLE????!!   NOW ONLY 2:30 pm WEII...............!!!!!

It only starts at 7pm man... Damn.. and I thought we were early..

It's alright, everything's cool.. we still managed to get the first lines...

That's the stage the built up, and we're lining up just in front of it, FRONT LINE!

I'm serious! NO JOKE! Front line..!

See, I told you.. Front line!

That's like only about 3pm, already so many people...

And then, all of a sudden, the guards started asking us to reverse, go backwards!

"GO BACK, GO BACK! GO BACKWARDS! REVERSE!!"

As you know, I was at the front line, and by the time I found out what was happening behind.....

They asked us to line up..!!

I was at the front, and now, all the way behind..

So mean! You saw with your own eyes right? We were right in front! And now, my god.. all the way behind.. can't even see the stage properly..

They informed the people behind about lining up first before informing us front ones.. Damn..

And the queue started to grow longer and longer, like a growing snake...

Can ya see those people opposite?

Yeap.. the queue went  until there.

    One whole U-TURN!

Now I'm thankful I came earlier... Pheww...

I tell you those guards are so rude and rough..

    Bloody hell...

They keep shouting and screaming into our ears, like as if we're deaf or something. And they pushed and dragged us around... Hell.. who you think you are man?

    MY MOTHER AH??!

Those 15 fans in black shirts are really  lucky..

Those are the lucky 15 fans, from this Malaysian Jay forum, myJaysian.reyix.com, who organized something and managed to be the lucky 15 fans who get to be in the first lines and take photos with Jay... and the best thing is they don't have to line up with the crowd at all!

    UNFAIR, UNFAIR, UNFAIR!!!

The guards closed up the place, and left us lining up for so many hours. According to one of the guards, we heard the gate was gonna be open around 5pm.

But you know, Malaysians' timing, 5pm means 6pm....

Finally, around 6pm, they let us in, but with many conditions. First of all, they required our ticket passes. That's ok, that is reasonable. Secondly, they ordered us that ONE album, for ONE person.

Luckily Michelle borrowed her friend's album man.. And there were many of them who lined up for so long but in the end had to leave because they don't have an album each.

But don't you think it's pretty dumb? They gave TWO passes free for ONE album, so obviously we'll bring a friend along right? And now, they only allowed those who have the albums to get in.

Bahhh... forget it.. As long as I got in.... =)

I wasn't too far back, but definitely not front in enough. Probably about the 15-20th line from the stage? That's considered pretty near, considering there were thousands and thousands of people way back there.

Anyhow, I wasn't satisfied with my position. There were so many giraffes around me, tall, tall boys all around me.. and eww.. they're so sweaty and noisy! All so tall!!

LIKE KL TWIN TOWERS like that... My god..

I had to tip toe the whole time.. and it started raining, well more to drizzling actually. Finally after waiting another an hour plus....

    JAY FINALLY ARRIVED!

And that's like around 7 something, close to 8pm.

We screamed like hell, and man.. when he arrived, that was the best part of all.

I only managed to a few pictures of him, but only 3 are quite visible.. the others are like very blur..

Okay, you can't see nuts right?

    How bout this one?

Well at least can roughly guess that is Jay right?

And the one and only picture I have left of Jay.....

    Damn... This sux...

WHY DO I HAVE TO BE SO SHORT???!

    No no.. let's make it...

WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE AT NIGHT???!

Damnn.. all the pictures are so blur and dark.. and somemore it wasn't easy taking those pictures I tell you!

Have to tip toe and fight with the tall giraffes! Hell...

Well well, I don't want to upset you with just uploading these few 3 pictures of Jay, so here goes the scanned pictures from China Press Newspaper.. alot clearer, trust me.. =)

Spot the yellow circle in the picture?

That's roughly where we were standing...

Okay, if someone out there can make out what those chinese words are, please tell me what they are trying to say.. I don't understand nuts... Haha!

In the pictures I took, Jay looked like he was wearing a shirt with boobs..

Ahh, now I can see properly..

    They are ALIENS!!

And Jay played a magic trick on Phoebe....

Phoebe asked Jay to show us some magic tricks.. and he said okay.

Without any preparations, Jay took of his ring. He pretended to put it on her head with her eyes closed. Then, he placed the ring on his head instead of hers without her knowledge. When he was ok, he asked her to open up her eyes and touch her head for the ring.

Phoebe was suprised that she thought the ring was gone for real. Then, Jay asked her to look down, he did the same thing too thus making the ring to drop on the ground. The blur Phoebe thought Jay was fantastic without knowing that it was just his little trick.

All the fans started bursting into laughters!

Jay also threw his ring to the crowd. But only those in the VIP corner had the chance to fight for the ring...

    UNFAIR!!!!

Jay should have thrown his ring further.. Haha! =D

Credits to JCNET for the picture..

Check out the crowd man.. I can't believe I was actually there.....

Damn lucky fans who got to take pictures with Jay...

    Sighh... tough luck I have..

Anyway, back to story. Jay also spoke in Cantonese that night! Cos Phoebe was asking him to speak something in Cantonese... and so he went..

    "Lei dei hou mah??"
    How are all of you?

"Lei dei kam man hai li dou, thai ping ko ah?"
Who are you all here tonight for?

    And we screamed and answered....

    "CHOU KIT LUN!!!!!!"
    (Jay's Cantonese name)

    Jay replied...

"Hai ah.. ngo hai Chow Kit Lun..!"
Yes ah, I'm Chou Kit Lun..!

HAHAHAHAH! Laugh my ass off man... So funny! =D

Jay also said something about Initial D..

"Lei dei yao mou thai Thau Man Zi D ah?"
Did you all watch Initial D?

    We screamed...

    "YAUU!!!!!!!!"
    Got...!!!!!

    Jay replied....

    "Hou em hou thai ah?"
    Was it nice to watch?

    We screamed...

    "HOU!!!!!!!!!!!"
    NICE!!!!

    Jay replied...

    "Em koii..!"
    Thank you!

That caused all the fans to laugh really loudly.. Haha! Not bad not bad, Jay's Cantonese is improving a whole lot more.. Whhheeee! =)

Jay also performed one song for us, which was Fa Ru Xue.. (Hair Like Snow)!

He was awesome man.. his vocal skills are so amazing, even better in live! He sounded tremendously great man.. I did record videos of him signing, but too bad, it's not clear and the sound is pretty bad..

But here goes... The first part of Jay's performance of Fa Ru Xue...

    And the second part...

    And the last part...

    Damn....

WHY DO I HAVE TO BE SO SHORT???!

All I managed to video cammed was people's HAIR!!

Can barely see Jay, like really really tiny, and mostly only his legs can be seen.. how saddening.. *sigh*

And if you were wondering if that was my voice singing along with Jay in the last video...

    NO, it's not me....  >.<

But I admit, it might be my voice during the screaming part.. >.<  *blushes and turns red like a chilli padi*

But oh well, nevertheless, there's always a better quality video for you to watch, so don't get disappointed first.. =)

After Jay's wonderful performance, it was the autography session. And man I tell you the fans are out of their minds. They started pushing and fighting among each other to get the best lines.

    But what the heck?

They don't even know where to line up..! *smacks forehead*

    Everyone was everywhere!!

There wasn't a proper line, and instead, there were so many lines! So none of us knew which one was the right line.. Finally those bloody guards did something.

They were as usual, ROUGH, pushed us all into one corner and lined us up orderly. At least after that, we had a proper line.

But why the hell they didn't think of doing that 2 hours ago?!!

My god.. we were like bunch of buffalos pushing one another for 2 long hours, not knowing where the heck is the line.

And when it was finally my turn to get Jay's signature, my heart beated like a heavy metal drum instrument I tell you... *DUK DUK DUK DUK DUK DUK DUK DUK*

Luckily I didn't get heart attack there.. Haha!

I also brought along my art pieces, and was hoping that Jay would be willing to sign them.. As soon as I reached the stage, I asked the bodyguards if Jay could help sign other stuffs besides the album...

    And you know what?

    THEY SHOUTED AT ME!

"NO!! NO!!! NO!!!!!! ONLY THE ALBUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Woahhh... hell... Man I've got two ears which are functioning well.. You don't have to scream at me like that, I'm NOT deaf!!

Thanx to that guy, NOW I'm deaf... *grumbles*

So, okay fine.. Cannot sign, then cannot sign la.. Hmmph!

And Michelle couldn't head to the stage to get Jay's autograph because her cousin passed her the whole album except for the album BOOKLET..

And they only allowed Jay to sign the BOOKLET and nothing else. Although Michelle had the whole album, including the box and the cd.. they didn't allow her to get his signature.. They stink big time!

I reached Jay's table. And I could finally see him, as in, his FACE properly!

And who the heck says he's not cute in real life, I tell you get real!

He's face is flawless man.. no pimples, no scars, no marks, no NOTHING! It's like so baby smooth!!

I couldn't see his eyes properly cos he was bending his head down signing the booklets. And I mostly focused on his cheeks!

Awww... he's so cute! He's chubbier than before! Just felt like pinching his cheeks at that very moment! Haha! =D

He signed booklets non stop. Although so, he still kept his smile through out the whole time and even looked up at every of his fans and smiled after finish signing their booklets.

When he signed mine, he looked up and smiled and that was when I saw his eyes.. but still not very visible cos his hair was kinda blocking. Haha!

And his dimple, WOOOOTS!! So adorable man.. =)

    The CD Booklet Jay signed!

    One word, DIAO!

After getting Jay's signature, we weren't allowed to stand there for just a lil' more longer, the guards started shoo-ing us away.

Felt really, really happy cos I actually managed to see Jay in person and being this close to him.. but also felt so, so upset cos barely get to look at him for more than 15 seconds..
Waited for so long, yet it overed so quick.. *sigh*

As I was walking down the stage stairs, this guy standing near backstage caught my eyes from sideways.

He looks pretty good looking, wearing a collar shirt while having quite a suave standing pose, and then I thought to myself...

"Ahh.. this guy quite cute ar.. not bad..."

Then when I looked at him properly.........

    OMG!!!

    It's DANIEL!!!

    MALAYSIAN IDOL, DANIEL, YOU KNOW?????

Hahahaha! I was so shocked and surprised that it was Daniel, and I even gave another strong head turn to look whether if it was really Daniel.

And yupp, for sure it was Daniel.

I was practically busy focusing on him trying to figure out if I regconize the wrong person.. Then Daniel smiled and gave a slight wave..

I was obviously, darn shocked, and just laughed lightly and smiled back and went towards Mun Yee and told her Daniel's just behind!

And woww.. Daniel's not bad looking actually, better in person, as in real life than TVs and photos.. =)

See, I didn't lie! It was really Daniel!

Not very surprising actually, cos Daniel is a darn big fan of Jay too!

I don't know what they're doing, but anyhow, they look very close. =)

While Jay was signing the booklets, there were fans who stood up on stage to sing Jay's songs from November's Chopin album.

And they were all holding the CD booklets for the lyrics, then I thought to myself...

"If I go up there and sing, means I have to bring my printed lyrics in pinyin to sing la.. die la like dat... pai seh man.."

Aiyo.. so embarrassing! Everyone can read Chinese, then I would be the only lost soul who reads pinyin printed lyrics..!

But actually, there was really one girl who went up there, and sang Hei Se Mao Yi, and brought her own printed pin yin lyrics.. And I knew from there that she is another Cheryl Ho (me) who can't read Chinese. =)

So, people out there, don't just assume that all Jay's fans SURELY know how to read Chinese okay? Jay has many many many fans who are bananas, for example, ME! ^^

Yupp, so that's about it. Everything ended around 10pm. Mun Yee, Michelle and I headed straight to Burger King to get ourselves dinner.

We haven't been eating since morning!

What an experience I tell you.. The next time Jay's having another event like this, I'll make sure if there are ticket seatings first. I would rather pay hundreds and get good seatings instead of free standing/seatings and pushing one another.

    Last but not the least...

That's how the ticket pass looks like..

The guards just simply tear only.. What a waste. Such a beautiful ticket pass and let them simply tear it just like that..

Okay.. I guess I didn't miss out anything. Once again, I apologize for the late update. I've been saving this draft for 7 days and now I finally had the chance to complete this post.

Due to the dumb Streamyx connection, it made my post got delayed for 7 days! Plus my working schedule, wow.. really didn't had the time.
Aights.. It's pretty late now, I have work tomorrow. So.. signing off to bed now! =)

*jielun's fan* First of all, my bad. There weren't 15 fans. There were only 9 of them. And hmm.. Guess you're wrong, coz no one won the limited edition pass, that's why 9 of them were the lucky ones to get to take a photo with jay. That was according to my friend who was told by the admin of myJaysian. =)
    jielun's fan. (:
