I went to the buka puasa bazaar at SS18 last Saturday with Becky, Tim, Nithi and Jewin.
OMG damnnnnn a lot of food man!
I saw this stall.. selling this food I that knew it looked very familiar. It was real solid meat poked through with a huge long sharp metal bar..
Me : Weihh! I saw this before ahh! This food..! I saw it in Morocco..! On TV wan.
Becky, Jewin and Nithi : *stares at me* -.- Cheryl ah? The "this food" right, is called Kebab.
Jewin : And everywhere has Kebab. Even Malaysia.. Not just Morocco. -.-
Cheryl : Really ah? But the Kebabs here I see in Msia always all ready made edi. Not like this one. So cool wan.. on the stick wan lehh...
Nithi : Cheryl I think you should stay 3 metres away from us.
Alahhhhhhhh....
I'm not thaaaaaaat jakun right. Just that, I don't eat kebabs mah. So I rarely see it.
Then there was this bread stall called Roti John.
Cheryl : What ya'll buying here?
Jewin : Roti John lahh. Don't tell me never hear before?
Cheryl : No wor. ........ Long John Silver got hear before lah.
Jewin : ..............................
No. I'm still not admitting that I am a jakun. I am NOT.
It's the Bulan Ramadhan and all the Malays are fasting. But that doesn't means they eat less okay.
Seriously.
Because of the fact they have to fast from I'm not sure very what time, till about 7pm everyday.. they get really really really hungry when it's time to 'buka puasa'.
I bet they consume more food than usual everytime it's buka puasa time.
Not only that, there are just more and moreeeee fooooooooood everywhere we go now. Don't care you Chinese Indian or Malay, wherever you go, confirm got food.
All the food bazaars and stalls.
That doesn't only involves Malays, but it is also very tempting for us Chinese and Indians.
So the fact that we Chinese people and Indians don't have to fast, thus we eat more too regardless of what time.
Moral of the story is, fasting won't make you any thinner. It just makes you grow sideways even more.
All thanks to the food bazaars.
...but actually I also didn't buy much. I bought 5 satays for RM2.00. Whaaat? It's still food right.
After the bazaar, we walked over to Asia Cafe. We had some drinks there and ate the food we bought. The guys seriously bought damn a lot of food. Boys can really eat.
We played a few games of foos and pool. And I love foos cos I'm addicted to the sound "BAAAAMMMMMMM" when it scores.
Ahahhaa, playing with Ms. Rebecky was damnnnn fun lah. She's one crazy babe man. Pool was fun with Tim, how he would get so pissed when he miss the ball. LOL.
Okaaaaay. Nvm, you probably wouldn't understand. No pictures to show ya'll how everything went. Cos sis was in Philippines, with my camera.
Before I end,
HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY BRYAN (LIM)!!!!
Thanks for a great day out, and I hope you enjoyed yourself as well. And erhh... as much as you don't wanna hear it, but sorry for the trouble caused once again. Thanks Bryan!
Yours truly,
Cheryl, ya'll are some real whacky bunch of asses to hangout with man. <3!
